Cigar That Pairs Best with A/C Review by Tyler: My Father Flor de las Antillas TAA Lancero

A pairing even more essential than my favorite refreshing ice cold beverage, is a great stick like the My Father Flor de las Antillas TAA Lancero and my well ventilated, air conditioned smoking room. When Summer sticks around too long, a smoke like this can make me forget!

The Flor de las Antillas is a Nicaraguan puro (my fav!) with a Sun Grown wrapper leaf that sports a pigtail head and a ribbon (emblazoned with “TAA”) on the foot. Lanceros have long been a special treat for me and the wonderfully rated FdlA came well recognized.

The stick’s flavors opened up with sweet dark fruit riding over layers of earth and grassiness. The finish had a moderate cayenne pepper heat, which showed up in a larger way on the retrohale! Notes of woodiness and pepper arrive to stay at the second and last thirds.

I’m glad that the TAA got this release and gladder still that my local online shop has some to pick up. Make your own pairing this summer and pick up a box of My Father Flor de las Antillas TAA Lancero for yourself today!
