Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut

Anthony’s Cigar Emporium has just received the Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut.  With many makers now using Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrappers, Altadis USA, Inc. still uses Connecticut River Valley, U.S, grown Connecticut Shade wrappers in its Montecristo Classic lines, as it has for decades.  The Montecristo White line uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper.  However, the Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut uses a special Connecticut River Valley, U.S grown Connecticut Shade wrapper from a 2008 harvest.  Along with Connecticut shade-grown wrapper, 2008 vintage, the cigar contains a Nicaraguan binder with fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru. The  Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut is made at the Tabacalera de García factory in La Romana, the Dominican Republic, where most Montecristo cigars are produced.

The Montecristo White Series Vintage Connecticut selection features a mellow blend of premium aged tobaccos offering aromas of vanilla, hazelnut, and espresso accented by a light spice undertone.  It is a very smooth cigar that will appeal to novices seeking a soft smoke and connoisseurs that appreciate the nuances of vintage tobaccos.

The Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut is packaged beautifully in 20 count lacquered white boxes with brass hinges and pictures that depict images of traditional red tobacco barns found in the Connecticut River Valley.  The cigar comes in three sizes: No. 2 (6” x 50 Belicoso); No. 3 (5 ½” x 44 Corona); and Double Corona (6 ¼”  x 50).  All sizes are available at Anthony’s Cigar Emporium.
