Headley Grange Drumstick 2017 Limited Edition – Arriving this week!
Anthony’s Cigar Emporium just learned from Crowned Heads that it is getting a shipment of the very limited Headley Grange Drumstick 2017 Limited Edition. In 2013 Crowned Heads released the Headley Grange Drumstick 2013 Limited Edition that was a 7 ½ x 38 Lancero with a pig-tail cap and was quickly sold out. That release was very limited to just 1,500 boxes of 10. Four years later, Crowned Heads announced the second release of the limited edition Headley Grange Drumstick 2017 but the production numbers have fallen to just 1,000 boxes of 10. Working closely with industry icon, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, Jr., and Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., the Headley Grange Drumstick 2017 blend has been re-created and packaged in the original 10-count box but the 2017 release has a black ribbon on the foot.
The dark and oily high-priming Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper is seamlessly applied to a core of Nicaraguan long-fillers hugged by a Nicaraguan binder in a variation on the original Headley Grange regular blend. From the first puff of the Headley Grange Drumstick 2017, the senses are met with a wave of nutty, spicy-sweet flavors. Coffee, baking spice, and leather join forces with creamy and earthy undertones. Because the lancero is a difficult shape, not only to roll, but to blend correctly, the entire batch of Drumsticks is being produced by one roller at E.P. Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A.
