Cubanacan has been quietly making premium cigars at amazing prices since 2006 where they began in Nicaragua. Now under the close supervision of Master Blender Omar González Alemán who emigrated from Cuba in 2004, they began small with just five pairs of rollers but a passion for tradition and quality.

Alemán worked in the Cuban tobacco industry since he was 9 years old, spending many of those years overseeing the La Corona Cigar Factory, one of the largest factories in Havana where Cuban brands such as Romeo y Julieta, Hoyo de Monterrey, Cuaba, Por Larrañaga, Saint Luis Rey, and San Cristóbal de la Habana are rolled. Cubanacan Maduro features a dark Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper and its all-Nicaraguan filler and Ecuadorian binder offer a leathery and rich earth profile. Aromas of roasted coffee are present. Cubanacan means “where fertile land is abundant.” With a great burn and draw, the construction is excellent. These cigars are a perfect entry point into a premium cigar without the premium price.
