New Limited Edition Le Bijou 100 Años Le Bijou is Don Pepin’s homage to his father, born in 1922. French for “The Jewel”, Le Bijou has lived up to its billing and become one of the most recognizable cigars out there. It won cigar of the year in 2015 with a 97 rating. Now Le Bijou is celebrating the 100th birthday of Jose Garcia Alayon with the 100 Años limited edition.
Using a new wrapper leaf dubbed the “Oscuro Oscuro” to cloak a well-aged, full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. A sweet, creamy start gives way to some spice and bold tobacco flavor. The new blend also uses an updated fermentation technique said to really bring out the aromas in the cigar.
