On a small number of plants, two additional tobacco leaves grow above ligero. These are called medio tiempo. At the height of the tobacco plant, they get the full benefit of the sun to produce an intense complexity and strength. La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo uses this rare leaf in the center of each cigar, resulting in a unique blend that is loaded with flavor and complexity in a medium bodied smoke.

The cigars have a commonality that provides a unique flavor profile that both use a Cameroon binder to provide some natural sweetness and Broadleaf in the fillers.
The Revenant is being made at El Artista in the Dominican Republic and are the first cigars for Gurkha from this outstanding factory.
The Revenant Corojo uses a Corojo wrapper over the Cameroon binder and fillers from Nicaragua, Dominican Criollo 98 and Broadleaf.
The Revenant Maduro has a Maduro wrapper from San Andrés over the Cameroon binder with fillers from Nicaragua, Dominican T-13 hybrid (a cross between Dominican Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano) and Broadleaf.
