A 6.5 X 48 with a fantail cap, this work of art uses a Nicaraguan corojo wrapper, which is only used on this cigar. Fillers include Dominican piloto cubano, Nicaraguan Estelí and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobaccos wrapped in a Nicaraguan binder.
The Serie M is being produced at El Titan de Bronze in Miami.
Futuro was an idea hatched between Kyle Gellis, founder of Warped and Max Fernández, owner of AGANORSA, Casa Fernández cigars, and Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua. They set out to create cigars that were unlike cigars in Warped’s portfolio or those typically made by Casa Fernández. The blend that they came up with is a Nicaraguan puro that uses 100% AGANORSA tobaccos including a Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper, Nicaraguan Criollo 98 binder and Nicaraguan Corojo 98 and Corojo 99 fillers. Two sizes are available, picked by Fernández and Gellis. Futuro is made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua. Only 400 boxes of each vitola were available for the debut at the 2015 IPCPR Convention.
The Warped Futuro is also one of the highest rated cigars in the Warped catalog, receiving multiple 90+ ratings including a 91 from Halfwheel, who described it as “An extremely well blended, well balanced cigar that easily deserves to be recommended.”
